Credit Suisse's new chairman is betting more of his own money on the bank's success.

Credit Suisse Chairman António Horta-Osório has bought another tranche of sharesin the bank, worth around 1 million Swiss francs ($1.1 million), a report on a management transaction from Swiss exchange operator SIX shows.

The official report from SIX said a non-executive member of the board had bought 115,042 shares on Friday. A Credit Suisse spokesman confirmed the buyer was Horta-Osório to Swiss news agency AWP.

Horta-Osório took over as chairman in April and in May bought $1.2 million worth of shares.
