Ihag Privatbank has appointed Reiner Schrupkowski (pictured left) as a member of its executive board from January 1, 2022, it said in a press release Wednesday.

Ihag said the move was part of its strategic focus as a bank for entrepreneurs. It added that it wanted to expand its advisory capabilities in the front office.

Schrupkowski has over 25 years experience in international private banking.

After working for BHF Bank Switzerland, Credit Suisse and UBS, in 2010 he joined the then Berenberg Bank, Switzerland (now Bergos), where he was the member of the executive board responsible for the front office.

Schrupkowski’s appointment is subject to approval by Swiss financial regulator Finma.
