The family-run bank has landed a big fish for its advisory business in Switzerland.

Rothschild & Co’s Zurich-based asset management arm is hiring Nick Bossart as head of global advisory, Switzerland, it said in a media statement Thursday.

Bossart left JP Morgan, where was country CEO and head of investment banking in Switzerland, earlier this year as finews.ch (in German) reported. Under his leadership, JP Morgan became the strongest investment bank after Credit Suisse and UBS.

Private Banking


The US bank also has a strong focus on private banking with more than 1,000 employees active in this area, targeting the business with the super-rich.

Rothschild & Co’s advisory services range from strategic advice and M&A to financing and capital markets advice.
