A former client advisor to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families at UBS and Credit Suisse is joining a newly formed investment boutique as a managing partner.

Sven Simons has been a managing partner of Duesseldorf-based investment boutique Anchora Capital since the beginning of July, according to the company's website. Previously, he had worked for many years at Credit Suisse and UBS. Between 2008 to 2013 as deputy director in wealth management at Credit Suisse in Germany, then until this year executive director in wealth management at UBS Europe SE. While there, he served high net-worth and affluent clients.

Anchora Capital was founded last year by Arthur Koczor and Jan-Hauke Lammers, who together with Simons now form the financial services provider's management team. Since January, the business of the boutique advisory firm has begun to take off with the first clients already on board.

At UBS, Simons got to know Lammers, who worked at the major Swiss bank between 2017 and 2022. Koczor and Simons, in turn, know each other from their time together at KPMG.
