Julius Baer hires relationship managers in Geneva to form a new team for local entrepreneurs and executives.

Bank Julius Baer continues to expand in Switzerland, establishing a new team for local entrepreneurs and executives in Geneva to provide a dedicated offering tailored to the needs of such clients, according to a media release on Tuesday.

The team will be headed by Adrien Genecand, who assumes his new role on September 1. Xavier Rival joins as a senior relationship manager and deputy team head effective October 1, together with relationship managers Oceane Levamis and Alexis de Haynin.

Hiring from UBS

Genecand joins from UBS, where he started his career in 2002 and held various positions, most recently as a senior client relationship manager for Swiss ultra-high net worth clients in Geneva. He served on the Geneva City Council from 2007 to 2018 and has been an active member of the Geneva parliament since 2018.

Rival spent the last 16 years at UBS in Geneva as a client advisor for Swiss clients, prior to which he worked for JPMorgan in risk management and as a financial analyst at Banque de France.

Alexis de Haynin also joins from UBS, where he has worked as a relationship manager servicing lawyers, notaries, and fiduciaries clients for the last decade. Levamis has a background in advising clients on tailored investment solutions, and previously working for Gonet and UBS.
