ZKB Asset Management Bolsters Sustainability Team

The asset management division of Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) has expanded its sustainability team. Natalie Benz took up the position of deputy head of sustainability in June 2026, succeeding Ruben Feldman, who has headed the «ESG Strategy & Development» unit since April of this year (as reported by finews.com).

Feldman joined ZKB in 2020 alongside a four-member team from ESG specialist RobecoSAM. During his tenure as deputy head, he played a central role in developing the bank's proprietary «Sustainalyzer» analysis platform, which is now deployed across divisions.

ESG, Climate, Nature, Stewardship

Benz brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector, with expertise spanning sustainability, ESG integration, climate and nature risks, and regulatory developments in asset management and banking. She joins from Quantis, where she most recently served as managing director and global sector lead for sustainable finance.

In her new role, Benz will focus on embedding sustainability considerations into investment analysis and portfolio management, while also leading strategic projects across regulation, climate, nature, and stewardship.

Benz holds a master's degree in accounting and finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in sustainable finance from the University of Zurich.
