Objectway Acquires FNZ’s Swiss Private Banking Technology Business
Objectway has agreed to acquire the Swiss private banking technology business of FNZ Switzerland, formerly known as New Access. The transaction brings more than 160 employees into the group, together with technology used by more than 40 private banks.
The acquisition strengthens Objectway’s presence in Switzerland and Liechtenstein while expanding its reach into other international wealth management hubs, including Luxembourg, Monaco, and the Bahamas. The company is also enhancing its capabilities for private banks operating cross-border business models.
Broadening the core banking platform
The deal expands Objectway’s end-to-end banking platform across the entire core-to-digital value chain. In addition to core banking capabilities, the combined platform will offer relationship management and digital banking solutions designed to help private banks modernize legacy IT infrastructures and address growing regulatory requirements.
Objectway founder and CEO Luigi Marciano said: «We are delighted to welcome a highly experienced and talented team to Objectway. Their expertise, international presence and strong client relationships will make a significant contribution to our future growth and innovation.»
He added: «We are committed to ensuring continuity for clients who have built long-standing and trusted relationships with our new colleagues. This agreement significantly strengthens our position across Continental Europe’s leading wealth management and cross-border financial centers while opening new opportunities for further international expansion.»
Existing management remains in place
Operational continuity will be maintained under Vincent Jeunet, who previously led FNZ’s Swiss business and will become CEO of Objectway Switzerland. He will oversee the integration while continuing cooperation with FNZ on several joint client initiatives.
The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions.
