Allianz Global Investors has named Björn Jesch as its new head of family office coverage, finews can reveal. He assumed the role in Zurich this July. Jesch joined Allianz Global Investors last September in Frankfurt as its chief product officer last September.

Jesch is best known in the financial industry for his previous roles as CEO of DWS CH and global CIO, as well as global head multi asset and solutions of DWS.

From 2018 until 2020, he was the global head of investment management at Credit Suisse. Prior to that he was the CIO and head of portfolio management at Union Invest. Earlier in his career, Jesch was the head of global investment solutions Germany, chief investment offices and head of portfolio management at Deutsche Bank.
