Vontobel reports record assets under management

At Vontobel, assets under management rose to a new all-time high in the first nine months of 2026. At the end of September, they stood at CHF 255.1 billion. That represents an increase of 6 percent, or CHF 14.4 billion, compared with the end of 2025. Compared with the half-year figure, that was an increase of 1 percent.

In addition to net new money inflows of CHF 1.9 billion, the growth was driven in particular by positive market performance of CHF 8.7 billion and currency effects of CHF 5.5 billion, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Adjusted net new money totaled CHF 8.4 billion from January to September. The main drivers were the continued strong development of the private client business in all regions, as well as strong demand for fixed-income products in the institutional business.
Private client business grows in all regions

The Private Clients division recorded net new money inflows of CHF 3.8 billion. Vontobel posted positive net inflows in all regions.
By contrast, the Institutional Clients business recorded unadjusted net new money outflows of CHF 2.0 billion. Adjusted for certain special effects, however, net new money inflows of CHF 4.6 billion resulted.

The adjustment takes into account outflows of CHF 5.1 billion from quality growth strategies as well as further outflows of CHF 1.6 billion related to the previously announced transfer of the Futura funds' fund management mandate to Raiffeisen.

Vontobel did not provide any information on earnings development in its trading update.
