Julius Baer is adding fire-power to the wealth-management team based in London. It has hired three bankers, two from Barclays and one from Lombard Odier.

The Zurich-based private bank has appointed Julian Cooper (pictured below) as a senior relationship manager. Cooper started in his new role at the beginning of August, Julius Baer said in a statement today.

Julian Cooper 160Cooper had been with Barclays Bank for 23 years. As a member of the executive, he was in charge of the entrepreneurs team at Barclays' private bank.

Cooper will be supported by Patricia Newton, who also joins from Barclays. The third new hire is Christian Rasmussen, who used to work as a relationship manager for Lombard Odier in London.

All three will be reporting to Annabel Bosman, the head of the U.K. relationship management at Julius Baer.
