After six years at Julius Baer, Daniel Kerbach has decided to accept the position of chief investment officer at a German private bank.

Daniel Kerbach at Julius Bank was deputy chief investment officer and global head of discretionary investment solutions. The Zurich-based bank in December 2016 had informed staff about his decision to move on, Julius Baer told finews.com.

Kerbach in September will take up the position of CIO at Merck Finck private bank, according to sources familiar with the move. Merck Finck is based in Munich and was founded in 1870.
