The Swiss bank has created a new area in its asset management business to oversee investment processes and standards in a newly created global investment area.

Credit Suisse Asset Management is appointing Jamie Lewin as head of investment process & oversight, effective immediately, it said in an emailed statement Tuesday.

Based in London, he will be responsible for the newly created global Investment area and report to Filippo Rima, head of investment at Credit Suisse Asset Management.

Lewin joins the bank from  BNY Mellon in New York where he headed investor solutions. Prior to joining the US bank, he was an asset allocation strategist at UBS.
