Nordea Asset Management hired a new sales director in Geneva who previously worked at Credit Suisse and UBS.
Nordea Asset Management hired Frederic Niamkey as sales director, effective July 1. Together with the team in Geneva, he is responsible for expanding the business in French-speaking Switzerland and will serve both banks and institutional clients, according to a statement Tuesday from the Finnish-Swedish banking group.
Swiss Growth Strategy
Niamkey has over 20 years of experience in wealth and asset management, most recently as head of sales for French-speaking Europe at Mirae Asset Global Investments. Before that, he held various positions at Abrdn, Credit Suisse Asset Management, and UBS Wealth Management.
He reports to José Machi, Head of Institutional & Wholesale Distribution in Switzerland.
With this addition to the team, Nordea intends to expand its footprint in the Swiss market.
