Lombard Odier appoints a new head of the UK business's Geneva-based team. She joins after a brief stint at Julius Baer.

Lombard Oder appoints veteran banker Kim Chatting as its new UK Market Head in Geneva effective September 1, reporting to the UK CEO of Lombard Odier's Private Bank Duncan MacIntyre, it was announced Monday.

As head of the UK team based in Geneva, Chatting is responsible for driving and maintaining an already established team in what Lombard Odier says is a key region for the Group. She's also responsible for acquiring new talent.

Replacing a Veteran

Chatting replaces Dominic Tremlett who decided to step down from the role. He'll remain within the Group and focus on serving his clients and supporting the UK Region. Tremlett served for over a decade in leadership positions within the UK Region team.

Over a three-decade career, Chatting established herself as an advisor to important UK and international clients and joins the firm from Julius Baer in Geneva, which she joined in October of last year, according to her Linkedin profile.

Before that, she spent six years as a director at Société Générale Private Banking, developing a UK client book. As UK Market Head, she established and led a dedicated UK market desk, expanding the asset base with initiatives focused on UK-domiciled and UK-resident non-domiciled clients across multiple offices.

She also spent six years at Credit Suisse in Geneva, with her tenure ending in June 2016, where she was a senior relationship manager.
