With a fifth appointment, the Executive Board of Bank CIC in Switzerland is again complete and larger by one.

Mirko Angelini becomes chief financial officer (CFO) and member of the Executive Board of Bank CIC (Switzerland) starting in October, according to a media release on Tuesday. This appointment has already been approved by Finma.

He's responsible for finance, controlling, markets, banking relations, lending, and tax services.

International Experience

Angelini has over 20 years of domestic and international experience. Before joining Bank CIC (Switzerland), he held similar senior positions at PKB Private Bank in Ticino, prior to which he worked at PwC in Switzerland and England. He's an active member of EXPERTsuisse, the Institute of Internal Auditors Switzerland (IIA Switzerland), and the Swiss Risk Association (SRA). 

New Risk Chief Appointed

Angelini's appointment follows that of Yves Aeschlimann as chief risk officer and member of the Executive Board since the beginning of August. Aeschlimann is understood to have extensive experience in banking sector risk management.

With these appointments, the Executive Board of Bank CIC (Switzerland) is again complete, comprising five members, all of whom have expertise in Swiss and international markets.
