Julius Baer keeps expanding in Germany: Zurich’s largest private bank has hired five relationship managers for its ever widening network of branches.

Julius Baer added five bankers to its team of 80 relationship managers based in Germany. The five will work in Frankfurt, Kiel and Hanover, according to a statement released by the bank on Tuesday.

Furthermore, the Swiss bank signed a contract with Alexandra Kolb, a wealth planner joining the Munich office from Hypovereinsbank.

Joining From UBS

The Frankfurt office will receive three new members in Andreas Beier, Matthias Luck and Anke Werdecker, boosting the strategic customers team. The three so far had worked for UBS in the same capacity.

In Kiel, Klaus-Erik Treiber will join the company. He used to work for Merck Finck as a director for wealth and portfolio management.

The Hanover team welcomes Lars Jendrtzok, who joins from Bankhaus Hallbaum. The Hanover office was opened last year, followed by the branch in Berlin shortly after. Julius Baer has ten branches in Germany with about 200 members of staff.
