Ex-UBS topshot Juerg Haller will take over from Ilan Hayim as chairman of Bank J. Safra Sarasin and as a member of the board of the holding company.

Ilan Hayim (pictured below) is about to step down from the boards of J. Safra Sarasin and will work with his successor to ensure a smooth transition, the bank said in a statement on Tuesday evening. Hayim informed the bank of his intentions after six years working for the Brazilian-Swiss company.
