Privatam, a start-up specialized in structured products, is hiring a Commerzbank sales veteran in an expansion push.

Privatam, a digital platform for structured products, named Carlos Kinsky as its new director of investment, it said in an emailed statement.

He spent the last 18 years with Commerzbank, most recently as part of the German lender's equity derivative sales team in London.

He is set to move from the U.K. to Zurich to lead Privatam's international expansion. Kinsky is the fifth hire in the past six months for the Monaco-based firm: last month Privatam appointed Massimo Passamonti, a former CERN nuclear scientist and ex-Commerzbank banker, as the new CEO.
