An ex-Credit Suisse asset manager who just joined DWS' Swiss unit is taking over as country head, effective immediately.

The Deutsche Bank-owned asset manager is naming Bjoern Jesch, who joined DWS in Switzerland as head of multi-asset and solutions in July, as CEO if its Swiss-based business, it said in a statement on Wednesday. Jesch replaces Manuel Faccio, who is leaving DWS, a spokeswoman said.

The move is a homecoming of sorts for Jesch, a German banker who began his career at Deutsche in Frankfurt in wealth management. Before joining DWS last month, Jesch worked at Credit Suisse and at Union Investment. He will continue to be based in Zurich.
