Deutsche Bank's asset management arm is hiring a funds veteran to oversee its distribution in Switzerland.

DWS is hiring Sven Wuerttemberger as its head of distribution in Switzerland, the asset manager said in an emailed statement. Wuerttemberger currently oversees the distribution of passive investments in the Swiss and Israeli market, as well as actively managed funds for private banks.

The asset management veteran previously worked for DWS from 2006 until 2009, when he was responsible for distributing structured products in Europe. Prior to joining the Deutsche unit three years ago, he spent eight years at Blackrock's Ishares, where he was responsible for distribution to institutional and wholesale clients in German-speaking Switzerland.
