Monaco-based fintech Privatam, which is also largely active from Zurich, has increased its sales capacity in the Latin American business.
Privatam, a Fintech company specializing in structured products, has hired Luis Muñoz as Senior Sales of Investment Solutions in its Latin American team, according to a media release sent on Tuesday. He will strengthen the Monaco office.
The new addition is in line with the company's strategy to strengthen its position in the region. During his more than 20 years with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Société Générale, Muñoz has held various management positions and has been instrumental in shaping the distribution strategies for structured products.
The company, which also operates from Zurich, recently expanded its team in the city, finews.com reported. A good year ago, Thomas Schmidlin, the long-standing specialist for structured products at Credit Suisse, also joined the Monegasque boutique, where he is Head of Sales since October 2019.
