A former banker who moved into real estate takes on a new challenge at Bonhôte, a Swiss private bank based in Neuchâtel.

Stéphane Picci has taken over as head of the Bonhôte real estate department at the private bank of the same name in Neuchâtel, according to a statement Wednesday. He began his career in the banking sector before moving into real estate in 1992. Since then, he has worked for several real estate management companies as a manager and/or owner.

In 2014, Picci participated in the creation of a company specializing in real estate consulting and valuation but continued to work as an independent real estate expert for the Bonhôte-Immobilier SICAV fund, for which he has valued part of the portfolio since 2006.

Acquisition and Sustainability Tasks

Now, the 55-year-old expert has taken over responsibility for Bonhôte's real estate team of four. His main tasks include the acquisition strategy of the fund, whose portfolio exceeded the one billion franc mark last year, and its sustainable development.

The Bonhôte Group, which has been based in Neuchâtel for over 200 years, also has branches in Bern, Biel, Geneva, Lausanne, Solothurn, and Zurich.
