Bonhôte Appoints New Head of Real Estate Fund
Mirko Mandola assumed responsibility for Bonhôte-Immobilier SICAV on 1 June 2026. He succeeds Stéphane Picci, who has taken early retirement, according to a statement released on Friday.
Mandola brings more than 30 years of banking experience and has held various senior management positions at UBS. He is said to possess recognised expertise in client advisory, management, business development and real estate.
Holding a degree in Business Administration (HES) and the Swiss federal diploma as a real estate valuation expert, Mandola also serves on the board of the CIN (Chambre Immobilière Neuchâteloise), acts as a representative for the Economic Affairs Department of the City of La Chaux-de-Fonds, and is a member of the Housing Commission of the Canton of Neuchâtel.
Real Estate Fund Celebrates Milestone Anniversary
Mandola has also been a board member of the ACBN (Association cantonale des Banques Neuchâteloises) since 2013 and served as its chairman for three years.
«Bonhôte-Immobilier SICAV has remarkable strengths: a high-quality portfolio, an experienced team and a proven strategy,» Mandola said.
The real estate fund, which is listed on the Swiss stock exchange, is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year. With a property portfolio currently valued at more than 1,4 billion francs, it is one of the largest real estate funds in Western Switzerland, according to the statement.
The fund comprises 2,900 residential properties and 480 commercial properties with a total floor area of 80'000 square metres, located primarily in Western Switzerland. Its objective is to build a Swiss real estate portfolio consisting of stable assets that are managed dynamically. The fund’s mission remains unchanged: to preserve the long-term value of its investments while delivering attractive and regular dividend distributions.
Stéphane Picci led the fund for six years. «His in-depth knowledge of the Swiss real estate market has made a significant contribution to the success of Bonhôte-Immobilier SICAV in recent years,» the bank said.
