Gentwo is hiring a former investment banker as its new boss. Co-founder-CEO Philippe Naegeli moves to a newly-created role at the securitization start-up.

Zug-based Gentwo is naming Joerg Bode as its CEO, effective immediately, it said in a statement on Tuesday. Bode was head of sales in Switzerland and the wider European region at Leonteq until the end of last year.

He replaces Philippe Naegeli, who co-founded the securitization start-up three years ago together with Patrick Loepfe, its chairman. Naegeli will move to the new role of chief vision officer, the company said.

Gentwo has attracted a coterie of influential advisers including Spiros Margarisan ex-banker turned fintech enthusiast who is helping with its internationalization and scaling initiatives.
