With York Runne, finews.ch is adding another experienced journalist with an international background to its editorial team.
York Runne joined finews.ch as an editor at the beginning of July 2021. The 56-year-old journalist worked for the news agency «AWP Finanznachrichten» in Zurich for the past ten years.
Before he moved to Switzerland, he was an editor at «Gruner + Jahr» in Frankfurt am Main. He also spent almost ten years as an editor for the international news agency «Bloomberg» in London.
York studied at the Johann Wolfang von Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and graduated in 1998 with a Magister Artium (MA) in History, Philosophy and International Politics.
Further expansion planned
