A senior human resources manager at Credit Suisse is stepping down, but not out.

Credit Suisse announced Tuesday that Claude Taeschler is relinquishing his function as the head of human resources for Switzerland and the Swiss Bank division, taking on other activities, mostly within the bank.

Taeschler who has been with the bank since 1982, will support the global head HR advisor along with the CEO of Credit Suisse’s Swiss Bank in Switzerland as a senior advisor commencing some time around the middle of the year, Credit Suisse said in an emailed statement.

Other Roles

He will serve in a variety of other roles as well, including as a member of the board of trustees of the Pension Fund of Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland) and its administration. In addition, he continues to lead the insurance governance board responsible for the employee insurance portfolio for employees in Switzerland.
