A new expert for risks related to sustainability has started at Credit Suisse. He was previously at UBS for almost two decades.

Credit Suisse is appointing Alexander Seidler as group-wide head of sustainability risk, effective immediately. He succeeds Bruno Bischoff, who left the bank last year, as the lender confirmed to finews.com in an email.

In his new role, Seidler will report to Gianluca Cantalupi, group-wide head of sustainability & climate risk. Seidler, who started working for UBS 19 years ago, was most recently responsible for environmental and social risks in the Asia-Pacific region, the statement said.
