Generali Investments Switzerland is making changes at the top of its sales division with two experienced experts.

Generali Investments Switzerland is appointing Edi Aumiller as the new head of sales for Switzerland and Etienne de Boni as sales manager for the country, effective September 1, the company said in an e-mailed statement Monday.

Aumiller, in the newly created position, is responsible for the development of sales activities in the Swiss market. Along with De Boni, the two will be responsible for sales activities, particularly with private banks and institutional investors, in Switzerland which Generali deems «enormously important sales activities,» according to the statement.

Swiss Experience

Aumiller has more than 15 years of asset & wealth management experience and is a veteran of business development, acquisition, and customer service, and is very familiar with the Swiss market. Before joining Generali, he was a sales director at Franklin Templeton and before that the country head of Switzerland at Legg Mason. Other stops on De Boni's career path include Franklin Templeton Switzerland, Partners Group and Credit Credit Suisse.

Expanding in Europe
