Zurich-based Zwei Wealth is aiming to bring in 20 new advisors to its platform by the end of the year.

Zwei Wealth is hiring Loris Capoferri, Nicolas Debons and Patrick Kuessenberger as partners, it said in an emailed statement Monday.

Capoferri will manage client mandates as a wealth officer and will expand services in and around Winterthur. Debons, a former managing director at UBS and member of Cantonal Bank of Valais’ executive board, is well-connected and will be joining the team in French-speaking Switzerland.

Kuessenberger is joining the Zurich team as a wealth officer where he will be looking after high-net-worth clients in German-speaking Switzerland.

Family office expert Daniel Hug joined the company last December, while Andrea Schlapbach was recently appointed as the startup's new operational head as finews.com previously reported.

Three out of Ten

The three newly appointed partners are soon to be followed by new hires. For 2023, the company, co-founded by former UBS chief economist Klaus Wellershoff, plans to expand the platform's advisor base by another 20 experts. There are currently over 40 advisors working for the platform.

According to CEO Patrick Mueller, however, Zwei Wealth is selective when it comes to its expansion. Out of ten applicants, on average only three met the criteria to be a wealth officer, he was quoted as saying in the statement.
