Swiss AI Pioneer Expands Leadership Team for Next Growth Phase

The company has entered a new chapter. According to a statement released on Friday, DGTAL has surpassed annual revenues of €1 million for the first time. Over the next twelve months, the firm expects to double its revenues.

As part of this development, co-founder Vanda Giannara has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Arndt Gossmann, who founded the company and has led it since 2023. Gossmann will remain the majority shareholder and a member of the Executive Board.

The company has also promoted Richard Hundt to Chief Technology Officer. The leadership team is further strengthened by Natasa Maniou as Chief Client Officer, Nicola Robben as Chief Operating Officer, and Sirarpi Arshakyan as Chief of Staff. Four of the five positions in the expanded management team are now held by women.

Growing Interest in Switzerland

DGTAL's technology is gaining increasing traction in Switzerland, particularly among insurers, financial services firms and other regulated businesses.

These organisations are seeking ways to delegate repetitive and data-intensive processes to AI agents without sacrificing transparency, auditability or regulatory oversight.

This is precisely where DGTAL's platform is positioned. The solution enables companies to transfer entire business processes—or selected parts of them—to AI agents while ensuring that every step remains fully documented and auditable.

According to the company, the platform achieves reliability rates of between 95 and 99 percent, depending on the use case. In highly regulated industries, such a combination of automation, transparency and governance is increasingly viewed as a key competitive advantage.

Expanding Use Cases

The platform is already being used by eight international clients in live production environments.

DGTAL says it is among the first European providers to deploy Agentic AI at industrial scale in real-world operations. Current applications range from claims management and underwriting to managing general agent (MGA) models and bancassurance solutions.

Beyond financial services and insurance, the company is expanding into additional areas, including human resources, payroll and business process outsourcing.

Accelerating Adoption of Agentic AI

DGTAL was founded with the goal of making artificial intelligence practical for data-intensive and highly regulated industries.

In Switzerland, the company works not only with insurers but also with consulting firms such as PwC and other partners to digitise complex business processes.

«We recognised early on that AI would fundamentally transform data-sensitive and regulated industries. The next step is to convert that technological lead into sustainable growth,» said Arndt Gossmann.

With the leadership transition and the expansion of its management team, DGTAL aims to strengthen its market position across Europe and North America while accelerating the adoption of Agentic AI solutions in regulated industries.
