Garbe Private Capital Expands Into Switzerland
The owner-managed real estate and infrastructure company is expanding its activities in Switzerland. With the establishment of Garbe Private Capital in Zurich, the company is creating a central point of contact for family offices, private banks, and entrepreneurial families that want to participate in joint investments.
Peter Paschke took over management on October 1, 2026, and is also a member of the board of directors, according to a statement published on Wednesday.
This is intended to expand access for private capital providers to its international investment platform. The focus will be on club deals, co-investments, joint ventures, and individually structured investments. The shareholder families of Garbe will also contribute their own capital.
The investment spectrum includes logistics and industrial properties, grocery retail properties, residential real estate, hotels, data centers, and infrastructure. According to the company, it manages assets of more than 15 billion euros and is represented with 23 offices in 16 countries across Europe, the US, and the Middle East.
An offering for family offices and private banks
So far, Garbe has worked primarily with institutional investors and international private equity firms. With the new company, this offering is now also to be made available to family offices and private banks.
"Family offices and private banks value direct access to investments, transparent structures, and a partner who takes responsibility for implementation," says Paschke.
Paschke has more than 14 years of experience in private markets and investor relations, particularly in working with family offices, entrepreneurial families, and private banks. Most recently, he worked for a single family office in Zug, Switzerland, focusing on real estate. Other career stops included Pangaea Life Capital Partners and New York hedge fund manager Muirfield Capital. He is also co-founder of the Swiss network Off Record.
