Jan Schoch’s wealth management firm Flynt has hired a family office executive to help it develop the company.

Flynt, a Swiss fintech company, has hired Stephan Gerwert who worked as managing director at Rigi Family Office for the past five years. The move was reported by «Private Banking Magazin» today.

Gerwert, 34, previously advised very rich clients at UBS in Frankfurt. He will provide his banking and know-how in managing complex portfolios to Flynt and work in the development of the business.

Service for the Rich

Jan Schoch, the co-founder and CEO of Leonteq, launched Flynt in 2016. Stijn Vander Straeten was appointed CEO in April. With its digital service platform, the firm focuses on very rich customers and family offices.

Flynt is based in Gonten, in the canton of Appenzell, but the development of the software is made in Zug. A team of 35 experts is working on the development of the platform and the software used to run the service.
