Staff fluctuation at UBS investment bank looks is picking up, with two of its leading executives moving to the competition.

After some four years as UBS’s head of consulting for mergers and acquisitions for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea), Severin Brizay is moving to Bank of America, «Bloomberg» reported.

Brizzay will take over as Bank of America’s London-based head of consumer and retail investment banking for the Emea region. At the same time, his UBS colleague Laurent Dhome, head of financial sponsors for Emea at the Swiss bank, is also moving to the U.S. competition.

Swiss Coup

At the same time UBS is tapping rivals for key staff as well. Sebastian Pollems is switching from Morgan Stanley to take up the position as co-head of UBS’s investment bank for Germany and Austria.

A further coup for UBS is the recruitment of Marco Illy, the long-serving head of Credit Suisse’s investment bank, who in December will assume leadership of UBS’s investment bank in Switzerland.
