Swiss Mining Ties

He isn't the first former UBS banker to be hired by Diginex: last year, the start-up hired equities banker Shane Edwards as its head of investment products.

Diginex aims to build a digitalen investment bank, wants to seen a Nasdaq listing via a merger with investment firm 8i, and also maintains ties to Switzerland: according to media reports, the start-up cooperates with Alpine Mining, which mines cryptocurrencies in Gondo, a remote town on the Swiss-Italian border.
