The private bank of French giant Société Générale has appointed a new head of sustainability for its business in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Monaco.

Société Générale's private bank in Switzerland appointed Dorothée Chapuis, its marketing director, as new head of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the Switzerland, Luxembourg and Monaco, the company said in a statement.

Her mission will be to organize the CSR strategy of the private bank by coordinating initiatives and projects related to value-added solutions for clients, the bank said. In particular, she will continue to expand and promote the range of sustainable solutions for wealthy investors. Her role will also be to contribute to the deployment of the company's strategy for a more responsible private bank.

Based in Geneva, Chapuis will assume the new responsibilities in addition to her current position as marketing director Switzerland and deputy marketing director for the private bank in Luxembourg and Monaco. Socgen, which dates back to 1897 in Switzerland, maintains offices in Geneva and Zurich.
