The crypto bank is hiring a veteran banker to head its client and technology solutions.

Seba is hiring Mathias Schuetz as head of client and technology solutions, according to his LinkedIn profile. Schuetz joins the Zug-based bank from Avaloq, where he was the country head for Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

The three-year-old start-up has plans to expand beyond Switzerland, chair Päivi Rekonen told finews.com in June. It offers clients trading, wealth management, financing solutions and custody services, all in cryptocurrencies or tokenized assets.

Avaloq's new co-CEOs Martin Greweldinger and Thomas Beck moved quickly to overhaul its top management following their appointment in March. This came several months after the company's sale to Japan's NEC last year for $2.3 billion.
