The French financial group is promoting two of its own into key positions, while splitting the country CEO’s role across two positions.

Paris-based BNP is naming Enna Pariset as head of territory for Switzerland effective from January, it said in a statement. The French lender is also making Arnaud Zeitoun the CEO of BNP Paribas Switzerland, according to the same statement.

The two executives take on duties from Monique Vialatou, who is stepping down as head of territory for BNP Paribas in Switzerland and CEO of BNP Paribas Switzerland, at the end of the year.  The statement does not give reasons for her departure.

Zeitoun, who steps into his new role from his current function as deputy CEO, joined BNP Paribas in 2003 and has held senior positions in fixed income and global markets. Pariset has spent 18 of her 28 years in banking at BNP Paribas and will continue to carry out her current duties as CEO of corporate and institutional banking Switzerland.
