Credit Suisse continues to bolster its investment banking ranks after a series of departures with a new hire in London.

Credit Suisse continues to bolster its investment banking arm following a series of departures last year.

Switzerland's second largest bank announced the hiring of Kristian Triggle, who will join the EMEA Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in London, according to a memo seen by finnews.com and confirmed by a spokesperson.

Triggle comes to Credit Suisse from RBC Capital Markets starting in May and will report to EMEA FIG co-heads Julian Lamm and Israel Fernandez, the latter joined the FIG in November of last year.

Building Momentum

Triggle’s appointment comes on the heels of the hire of Michael Bonacker in Frankfurt as Vice Chairman for FIG in EMEA.

Among the origination transactions Triggle was involved with include the acquisition of Guardian Financial Services by Swiss Re, the sale of Irish Life to Great-West Lifeco and the IPO of Just, according to the memo.
