Bellevue Group, based on the shores of lake Zurich, is bringing aboard an experienced secondaries team which joined at the beginning of December.

Steven Kroese, Lars Honegger, and Chris Davies, joined Bellevue Group from Zug-based Partners Group, according to a statement Monday. 

The move allows Bellevue to add a new area to its private markets expertise and offer secondary market strategies alongside its established direct investment business. As part of this, the Swiss asset manager will launch a new secondaries strategy in early 2023.

Extensive Experience

Kroese becomes managing partner and member of Bellevue's private markets investment team. Before joining, he spent over 16 years at Partners Group as senior vice president and member of management in the private equity integrated division and served as a member of the private equity secondaries investment committee. Other professional positions include Société Générale and Invision.

Certified Public Accountant

Honegger is a managing partner and member of Bellevue's private markets investment team, having previously spent ten years at Partners Group as senior vice president and member of Management in the private equity integrated division. Before that, he worked at KPMG in Bern. 

Experienced Lawyer

Davies also becomes a managing partner and member of Bellevue's private markets investment team. He spent ten years as head of the structuring team, and legal counsel, and was a member of management at Partners Group. He was responsible for all secondary transactions within the legal team. Before that, he worked as a solicitor at Darwin Gray LLP and Barnes & Partners Solicitors. 

Product Launches in 2023

Jan Kollros, head of private markets at Bellevue and CEO of adbodmer, which is part of Bellevue, completes the team. Kroese and Honegger are based in Zug, while Davies is based in London.
