Pictet Partners With Paris Photo
Pictet Group has become an official partner of Paris Photo, the world’s leading international fair dedicated to photography and image-based art, reinforcing the Swiss wealth manager’s long-standing association with photography, sustainability and the visual arts.
The partnership will see the Prix Pictet presented at Paris Photo for the first time. The award, founded by Pictet in 2008, will have a dedicated exhibition space inside the Grand Palais during the fair’s 29th edition from 12 to 15 November, with a preview on 11 November.
A Global Stage for the Prix Pictet
Located in a prominent position within the Grand Palais, the exhibition will feature a curated selection of works by previous Prix Pictet laureates. The photographs explore themes ranging from climate change and environmental degradation to mass consumption and broader societal challenges, reflecting the award’s focus on sustainability.

François Pictet, Managing Partner of Pictet Group, said the partnership represents a natural extension of the firm’s long-standing support for photography and the arts. Since establishing the Prix Pictet, the group has sought to demonstrate photography’s ability to engage audiences with some of the world’s most pressing sustainability issues, he said.
Florence Bourgeois, Director of Paris Photo, said the collaboration brings together two organisations that share a commitment to photography as a powerful medium for addressing contemporary global challenges. She noted that the inaugural Prix Pictet exhibition will coincide with celebrations marking the bicentenary of photography.
Two Decades of Cultural Engagement
The Prix Pictet has evolved into the world’s leading award for photography and sustainability. Since its launch, more than 5,600 photographers have been nominated across eleven award cycles, while its travelling exhibitions have attracted over 1.5 million visitors at institutions including London’s Victoria and Albert Museum and Paris’ Palais de Tokyo. The winner of each edition receives a prize of CHF 100,000.
The partnership with Paris Photo underscores Pictet’s broader positioning around long-term thinking and sustainability. By bringing the Prix Pictet to one of the world’s most influential photography events, the Geneva-based firm is extending the international reach of an initiative that has become one of the defining cultural platforms linking art, environmental awareness and responsible stewardship.
