Credit Suisse is bolstering its investment management with a veteran of UBS. The long-time asset manager is returning to Zurich from London for the job.

Zurich-based Credit Suisse said it is hiring Daniel Imhof as deputy head globally of its investment management, from November, according to a memo seen by finews.com. Imhof, a 25-year veteran of UBS, will also be Credit Suisse's head of platinum solutions and client services.

The bank confirmed the hire of Imhof, who will report to investment management head Bjoern Jesch. Imhof, who is Swiss, is returning to Zurich from London, where he has been with Schroders as head of global sales for the last two years.

Imhof will be responsible for portfolio management and client services worldwide in the platinum job, which means working with the Swiss bank's ultra-wealthy segment of clients. Credit Suisse also expects measures from Imhof of hiking revenue from recurring mandates, according to the memo.
