White-collar law firm Kellerhals Carrard is expanding its capital markets expertise by poaching from a Swiss rival.

The Swiss law firm is hiring Luca Bianchi as a partner, effective immediately, according to its website. The Swiss-Italian-U.S. lawyer was with Nieder Kraft & Frey for the last ten years, most recently as a senior associate.

Bianchi's hire represents a strengthening of Kellerhals' capital markets expertise.The 38-year-old specializes in debt capital market transaction like cocos – contingent convertible bonds – structured products, and collective investment schemes like ETFs and investment foundations. He studied law in Zurich and earned an MBA from the University of Hong Kong.
