The Swiss insurer is naming a new underwriting chief, after a management shuffle advanced the previous executive into the C-suite.

The Zurich-based company is appointing Hayley Robinson as its chief underwriter from June, it said in a statement on Friday. She replaces Sierra Signorelli, who was promoted to Zurich's top management overseeing commercial insurance in March, after just seven months in the underwriter role.

Robinson, who is currently the chief U.K. underwriter, is a former RSA and Aviva executive who joined the Swiss insurer three years ago. She will be based in Zurich and report to Signorelli.
