Syz Group's head of European, Middle East, and Eastern Europe businesses has headed for the door.

Personnel changes are afoot at Geneva-based Syz Group,  finews.ch has learned. Lorenzo Romano, most recently Head Europe, Middle East & Eastern Europe at Syz Private Banking, is leaving the firm, a spokesman confirmed upon request.

Along with Romano, who was at the bank for five years, another private banker is said to be leaving the firm, although the spokesman declined to provide details. In the meantime, Romanos function will be done ad interim by Roman Bruner as the search for a successor is in progress.

Asked if there had been further recent departures, the spokesman declined to comment.
