After Zurich Deal, Richelieu Targets €15 Billion in Assets

Groupe Banque Richelieu has reached a new milestone, with assets under management climbing to €11 billion as of June 30, 2026. The increase was driven by continued net new money inflows, the firm said on Thursday.

The group has recently reinforced its international footprint through the full acquisition of its Zurich-based subsidiary, Banque Richelieu Switzerland, and the launch of Richelieu Invest, a new investment platform designed to broaden its wealth management offering, as finews reported.

Expansion Strategy Gains Momentum

«This milestone confirms that our multi-entity model, spanning four leading financial centers, is meeting the expectations of the international families, entrepreneurs, and institutional clients we serve,» said Group Chief Executive Sylvain Fondeur.

As of the end of June, its consolidated capital ratio stood at 25 percent, while shareholders’ equity reached €230 million. Liquidity metrics remained well above regulatory requirements, with a Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) of 355 percent and a Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) of 170 percent.

AI to Drive the Next Growth Phase

Backed by its balance sheet, Groupe Banque Richelieu aims to increase assets under management to €15 billion over the next three years.

To achieve that goal, the group plans to continue expanding organically, deepen synergies across its businesses, invest in its workforce, and accelerate an internal transformation centered on artificial intelligence.

At the same time, Richelieu intends to pursue selective external growth opportunities across its core markets to further strengthen its international wealth management franchise.
