Aberdeen Standard is replacing its Swiss CEO André Haubensack (pictured below) with Karsten-Dirk Steffens, a source familiar with the hire told finews.com. A spokesman for the Scottish fund manager confirmed the move, which was effective this week.

Haubensack took over as country head for Aberdeen Standard last August, following a 2017 merger. Until then, he had been distribution head of Standard Life Investments in Switzerland.

Steffens was with Aviva Investors for eight years, most recently as wholesale head for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Previously, he worked for Axa and Threadneedle.
