Eleonore Meier is the new managing director of the Zurich-based family office Kate. In this role, she oversees the financial holdings and a portfolio of companies in South America, Europe, and Asia for the family of Dieter Meier, co-founder of the Swiss electropop duo Yello. Eleonore is his daughter.

Meier studied at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, spending a decade on the West Coast. During this time, she founded her own production company, with which she produced the independent film «Between Us,» among others.
As an entrepreneur, Eleonore is particularly interested in startups. «I've always been fascinated by starting and developing companies,» she says. «After all, my parents modeled that for me on a daily basis.» Dieter's wife, Monique, founded the lifestyle label «enSoie.»
