US financial giant J.P. Morgan has appointed a former UBS and HSBC banker as the new head of its asset management in Switzerland. She replaces Claude Kurzo, who had already been promoted to a new function in London last year.

J.P. Morgan Asset Management (J.P. Morgan AM) appointed Laura Geiger-Pancera as Managing Director for Switzerland, the company announced on Thursday. Based in Zurich, she will report to Christoph Bergweiler, Head of Funds Continental Europe at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in Frankfurt am Main.

Geiger-Pancera joins J.P. Morgan AM from HSBC, and has previously spent 20 years at UBS, both in Switzerland and Asia. In her new role since the beginning of 2024, she replaces Claude Kurzo, who was appointed Country Head of J.P. Morgan AM in the UK in London last March, as reported by finews.com.
